In 1B studio, I delved deeper into architectural form, building on foundational concepts from 1A. This semester focused on refining analytical and formal strategies, particularly in mass, interiority, and spatial ordering. Projects, using digital and physical media, honed skills in translating two-dimensional geometry into three-dimensional forms. Formal analysis, geometric description, and composition were central, fostering a comprehensive architectural understanding. Projects progressed towards designing a small public building, emphasizing rigorous methods, investigative precision, and representational strategies. The studio enhanced graphical communication and verbal articulation through discussions, lectures, and readings, situating assignments in disciplinary and historical contexts.
